Peruvian Restaurant & Pisco Bar in Shoreditch

Somewhere in Shoreditch there’s a yellow door. Behind it, a lift. Press seven.

The doors open and London quietly stops counting. Pisco Sours are being shaken, ceviche is being shared, and the city glows all around the glass.

In winter, the sun sets over Shoreditch around 4pm, right in the middle of Sour Hour. Then our greenhouse dining room gets cosy: candlelight, warm plates and rain on the glass. Perfect for a date night, a big table with friends or after-work drinks that turn into dinner.

Llama Inn is the creation of chef Erik Ramirez. Raised in New Jersey by Peruvian parents, he spent three years as sous chef at Eleven Madison Park, then cooked across Peru alongside Gastón Acurio and Virgilio Martínez before opening Llama Inn in Brooklyn in 2015. Two New York Times stars, a Michelin Bib Gourmand and a James Beard nomination later, the Llama landed in Shoreditch.

Expect zingy ceviches, bold small plates and generous dishes to share, all rooted in Peru’s culinary heritage. The bar runs on Pisco and Latin American spirits, the wine comes from small independent growers, and we’re proud to be recommended in the MICHELIN Guide.

The home of the Pisco Sour in East London

Our bar runs on Pisco, Peru’s grape brandy, shaken into sours, stirred into cocktails and poured straight for the brave. Can’t decide? That’s what Sour Hour is for: pick from our selection of Pisco Sours for £8, Sunday to Friday, 3-6pm.

The best after-work drink in Shoreditch, seven floors up.
